React is a JavaScript library created by Facebook that's taken the web development community by storm. It’s used for building user interfaces where data flows from the top down to lower levels. This simple principle allows applications of any scale to be developed without compromise, safe in the knowledge that some of the biggest websites in the world are built with React, including Facebook, Codecademy, the New York Times and DropBox.

React Native lets you build mobile apps using only JavaScript. It uses the same design as React, letting you compose a rich mobile UI from declarative components. You can share code between iOS and Android, but rather than ending up with a "mobile web app" or "hybrid app" you're getting a real native app that's indistinguisahble from an app built Objective-C or Java.

Firebase is Google's Platform as a Service (PaaS) offering for web and mobile developers, covering everything from database, authentication and storage to analytics and messaging. We've been working closely with Firebase over the past 2 years and love how quick and easy it is to iterate from prototype through to battle-ready production application using Firebase.

Where you need more flexibility, we're able to build custom backend applications in a range of programming languages including Node and Java. Combining this with Serverless, Platform as a Service (Paas) or Infrastructure as a Service (Iaas) in the cloud gives you the freedom to decide how much (or little) control you need to have in the future.
